Hotel Policies


Hours of Daily Operation
The Gate Restaurant: 6am-Midnight
The Cupola Salon & Spa: 8am-8pm
Pool & Fitness Center: 6am-10pm
In Room Dining: 6am-Midnight

Check In/Out
Check in is 4:00pm. Check out is 12:00 noon. Departures after 12:00 noon may be charged an hourly late check-out fee. After 3pm, a fee of an additional one (1) full night’s stay at that day’s best available rate will be applied.

Room Occupancy Guidelines
Our rooms are designed to accommodate 2 persons per King room and 4 persons in rooms with two (2) Queen beds. Our Suites may accommodate up to 4-6 persons. Suites contain one (1) King or two (2) Queen beds and a connecting parlor with a Queen sofa bed.

There will be a $20/night charge, plus tax, for Aerobeds, based on availability. Pack-n-Plays are complimentary, based on availability. Please check with the Front Desk to request either an Aerobed or Pack-n-Play.

Non-Smoking Hotel
We are a smoke-free, and vapor-free, hotel; including guest rooms, patios, balconies, dining and public spaces. To cover costs hotel would incur if policy is not followed, a $450 deep clean and recovery fee will be charged to the credit card on file.

Noise Policy
We like to offer comfortable guest rooms to guest’s all throughout the hotel. To ensure all guests receive the same experience, we ask guest’s to be respectful of their temporary neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. Our Sound Curfew is between the hours of 10:00pm-6:00am. Please be advised that if a guest is in violation of this curfew, actions may be taken including additional fees and/or relocation.

Dog Policy
We are able to accommodate your canine pets as guests into the hotel. For a complete copy of the Dog Policy, please contact the Front Office. Here are the highlights of our dog policy:

  • We allow a maximum of two (2) dogs per guest room at no more than 40 lbs each. There is a non-refundable $50 fee per dog, per day.
  • Water bowls, specially-made dog treats, dog beds and courtesy bags for walking your dog may be available. Please contact the Front Office to request these items.
  • All dogs are required to be in a crate while in the room. If you do not own a crate, or forget to bring one, they are available at $20/crate per night, based on availability.
  • No dogs are allowed to be in your guest room unattended.
  • No dogs are allowed to be in the common areas, including the pool area, fitness center, park, spa or salon. The Gate does not allow dogs inside the dining room, but dogs are allowed to be on the patio.
  • There is a designated “canine relief” area for your dogs to utilize. Dogs are not allowed to relieve themselves on the patios or balconies. Please pick-up after your pet.

If you would like to have your dog join you, please let us know when making your reservation so that we can confirm the policy of the hotel and to guarantee availability of a canine-accommodating room. Upon check-in, you’ll need to sign a Pet Policy Agreement.

Pool Policy
Children cannot be left unattended in the pool area. No glass in the pool area. Pool hours must be obeyed.

Parking Policy
The Murieta Inn and Spa parking lot is reserved for hotel guests only. Guests travelling with additional recreational vehicles are asked to contact the Front Office to aid with parking.

Reservation Guarantee
A deposit of one (1) night’s room and tax will be charged upon arrival. A credit card must be presented at the time of check-in to guarantee all reservations. An authorization hold will be placed on the credit card provided for the entire length of stay, and will be charged upon departure. Damages that occur in the hotel room, or to the property of the hotel, will be the guest’s responsibility and charged to the credit card on file.

Guest’s using a debit card to complete their reservations are asked to contact the Front Office for more details concerning card processing.

Group room blocks will require a guarantee as stated in the Group’s contract. Please contact Sales & Catering at 1-916-262-7555 -or- sales@murietainn.com for questions or booking details for your group.

Guest Room Cancellation Policy
If for any reason you need to modify or cancel your reservation, we require a minimum of a 48-hour notice prior to arrival. One (1) night’s room and tax will be charged to the credit card on file if the reservation is modified or canceled within the 48-hours.
